Celtic Flags Treasure Hunt

by isleofman.com 16th July 2012

As part of this year’s festival, Yn Chruinnaght is holding a treasure hunt in Ramsey from Saturday 14th to Saturday 21st July.

Flags from all of the Celtic nations have been stashed in the windows of several Ramsey shops. All the flags need to be found in order to unlock the mystery word, and the chance to win. First prize is a bundle of vouchers, worth ?100, for some of the fantastic shops in Ramsey, with second prize being a bundle worth ?40. The festival would like to thank the Ramsey Chamber of Commerce for their support in organising this event.

From 11am-3:30pm on Saturday 14th July there will be an information stall about the festival, located on East Street corner, and entry forms can be collected and handed in here. The vibrant young Manx group, Bree, will also be performing at East Street corner at 2pm. Entry forms will also be available at any Yn Chruinnaght event, from Ramsey Library, and can be downloaded from the Yn Chruinnaght Facebook page (www.facebook.com/ynchruinnaght).

For more information on this, or any of the other exciting events that are happening throughout the week, go to www.ynchruinnaght.com, or phone 425957.
