Dinner with a Dolphin!

by isleofman.com 18th July 2012

Join the Manx Wildlife Trust and Manx Whale and Dolphin Watch, for a ‘Dinner with a Dolphin’ event and help us try to spot dolphins, basking sharks, seals, porpoises and whales. Bring along your own picnic to have on the grass as we watch, or why not book yourself a table at the Sound Cafe for a real treat?

It will be at the Sound, on Friday 27th July from 6 till 9pm and is free. We will have spotting scopes and binoculars to help you search for these fantastic marine creatures.

The Manx Wildlife Trust is also delighted to welcome over Paul Rose, a BBC wildlife documentary presenter, who was last on the island a couple of years ago filming our basking sharks for ‘Britain’s Secret Seas’. He will be an extra pair of eyes to help us spot, as well as there to answer any questions.

This event is in support of The Wildlife Trust’s ‘National Marine Week’ as well as Sea Watch Foundation’s ‘National Whale and Dolphin Watch Weekend’.
