Crescent raises Cash for Rebecca House

by isleofman.com 19th July 2012

Children’s Hospice Rebecca House received a welcome cash boost thanks to the assistance of The Crescent in Douglas.

Once again the local bar and entertainment venue stepped in to help local charity by providing free use of their facilities for a band night.  The event, which saw 5 local bands take to the stage, raised ?2280 for the local hospice.

Director of The Crescent, Stuart Hampson said “We are always happy to support local charity in any way we can here at The Crescent.  The Rebecca House event was an excellent evening and received an added boost with the visit of top TT riders such as John McGuinness”.

Free venue hire is available to all Isle of Man charities and they should contact The Crescent on 622447 or thecrescent@manx.net for further details.
