Police confirm fatality in yesterdays crash

The police can now confirm that a 74 year old man from Douglas died in the collision which occurred on the Mountain Road at the Creg-Ny-Baa, at 10.00am today, Tuesday 24 July 2012.
 
Although witnesses have come forward to assist, the police are keen to speak with any other witnesses who were in the area at the time. The two vehicles involved were a Ramsey bound silver and blue Smart car, and a Douglas bound black Vauxhall Zafira.
 
The deceased man’s details will not be released at this time, but his immediate family and the Coroner of Inquests have been informed.
