Police would like to appeal for witnesses to a disturbance that occurred around the Star Grill Takeaway, Castle Street, Douglas, about 2.00am on Saturday 28th July 2012.  Two young men were involved in a scuffle inside the takeaway that carried on outside.  The two men confronted each other outside Sam Webbs Pub and were separated by another man.

A number of witnesses have already come forward but there were other people in the area at the time.  Sergeant Neil Craig said “I WOULD LIKE TO APPEAL TO ANYONE WHO WAS IN THE AREA AT THIS TIME TO COME FORWARD AND SPEAK TO ME AS THEY MAY HAVE INFORMATION TO ASSIST US IN OUR ENQUIRIES”.

Anyone who has information about this incident should contact Police Headquarters on 631212. A reward may be payable as a result of your information.
