Manx2.com continues support for Friends of Manx National Heritage

by isleofman.com 10th August 2012

Manx2.com is delighted to have renewed its bronze corporate membership with Friends of  Manx National Heritage.

Manx2.com Managing Director, David Buck, said: ‘We are very pleased to have extended our membership with FMNH, a wonderful charity dedicated to conserving the cultural heritage of the Isle of Man.  This year we’ve worked with them to provide two charter flights between here and Anglesey for FMNH members, where because of the reciprocal agreement with the equivalent body in Wales – Cadw, they can now access heritage sites in Wales too.  We’re hoping to fly in a return group of Cadw members from Anglesey at some point over the summer too.’

Nicola Pemberton, Development and Admin Officer of the Friends of Manx National Heritage said: ‘We are delighted Manx2.com has renewed its membership as it shows a positive commitment to the Island’s unique culture and heritage.  All Manx2.com staff will be able to enjoy the benefits of complementary admission to Manx National Heritage sites plus free or reduced admission to National Trust, English Heritage, Scottish National Trust, Historic Scotland and Cadw.’

Mr Buck and Chairman of Manx2.com, Noel Hayes, received a certificate of membership from Development & Administration Officer for FMNH, Nicola Pemberton.
