by isleofman.com 13th August 2012

Douglas Police are appealing for information in relation to a burglary which has taken place on the outskirts of Douglas in recent weeks.

Police are keen to locate a number of power tools which were stolen from a property.

Police are particularly keen to receive any information available in relation to a hazardous waste material vacuum. It is manufactured by a company called Numatic International and is pictured.

Constable David CUBBON said “It is believed that this is a rather specialist piece of equipment which cannot be serviced by any Island based company”. Due to these facts it may stand out to somebody who has seen it or been approached with a view to purchasing it second hand.

Another item which has been taken is a Dewalt 10.8V cordless subcompact drill driver and Impact driver twin pack with 2 batteries.

Constable CUBBON can be contacted at Lord Street Police Station by telephoning 631212.
