The Department of Social Care will be hosting a public meeting to give people across the Island the opportunity to ask questions and put forward their views on the national debate on social policy.
 
The meeting will take place on Tuesday 4th September from 7.30pm at the Manx Museum, Douglas.
 
The Minister for Social Care Hon Chris Robertshaw MHK said:

“The national debate on social policy has got off to a great start with over 650 written responses from the public so far.  This is so important that I also want to give people across the community the opportunity to hear the facts and express their views face to face.  I do hope people are able to take up this opportunity.  I look forward to listening to what you the Manx public have to say.”

The meeting is free and open to all members of the public.  However there is a limit on the number of people the venue can accommodate and seats will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis.  No bookings will be taken.
