Fruity Boost for Crossroads Care

by isleofman.com 28th August 2012

Local business woman and founder of Pomegranate, Chris Sams Rafferty, has launched a natural & organic skincare range that is not only helping women fight the signs of ageing, but which is reducing the burden some carers face when looking after a loved one.

Pomegranate’s Regenuvite™ skincare range launched in London in April this year and the brand’s success prompted Sam to give something back to the local community so she formed a relationship with local charity Crossroads Care.

Pomegranate has set up a charity code through their online shop where they will donate 10 per cent of the sale value of an order to Crossroads Care. Shoppers simply use the promotional code CROSSROADS at checkout. Customers will also save an extra 10 per cent on their purchases when using Crossroads’ code until the end of September.

Chris Sams Rafferty of Pomegranate said: “”Crossroads does so much on the Island to support carers and the demand for their services is growing.  To be able to help with fundraising in this small way means a lot to us”.

Alex Wilson of Crossroads Care said: “Pomegranate understands the role carers play within our community and that they deserve the support to gain a well-deserved break from caring. The Crossroads’ promotion code is an innovative fundraising initiative to the island and it’s very exciting. It’s fantastic to see products born on the island receive international acclaim and that Pomegranate’s founder has chosen to share their success and support another local organisation in Crossroads Care”.

To make use of Crossroads’ code visit www.pomegranatestore.com and enter CROSSROADS at checkout. For more information about Crossroads Care visit www.crossroadsiom.org.
