In response to the increased regularity of kayaking incidents on the Isle of Man coastline, Adventurous Experiences have organised a basic Kayak Safety Seminar, running over two consecutive Saturday evenings beginning 29th September 6:30pm at their lecture room at Ballabrooie, Patrick Road, St Johns. Finishing at 9pm, the two part land-based seminar will cover tides, weather forecasting, predicting location conditions, safe practice, equipment and emergency procedures.
The seminars will be led by Keirron Tastagh - Adventure Sports Coach, and other specialists in their fields.
