US lawyer to speak at ACSP FATCA seminar

The Association of Corporate Service Providers has scheduled an additional lunchtime seminar for September. On Tuesday September 11 a presentation by Kenneth E. Werner of international law firm Richards, Kibbe and Orbe LLP will cover issues relating to FATCA (Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act).

Mr Werner, who is experienced in tax-efficient investment structuring in non-US jurisdictions, specialises in federal income taxation issues arising out of domestic and cross-border business transactions. He is a member of the firm’s executive committee and admitted to practice in New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts and South Carolina.

Sponsored by Barclays the session will be at Upper Hall, Loch Promenade Church, Douglas. Registration is at 12noon for a 12.30pm start and subject to the number of questions and contributions from the audience the event is expected to finish at around 1.30pm.
