Due to a recent change in circumstances and issues outside of his control, Tim Reeves has left the Nick Crowe Racing F2 Sidecar team with immediate effect. Reeves, who recently clinched his fourth World F1 title, drove for the team at this year's TT, where he finished second, and also at the Southern 100 where he made a winning debut but hopes of continuing with them in 2013 have ended with Thursday's announcement that Michael Dunlop will drive the outfit at this weekend's International Gold Cup at Oliver's Mount, Scarborough. Reeves, who was hoping to contest the meeting with the team himself, only found out the news via a social media website and has subsequently made the decision to part with the team.
 
Speaking on Thursday evening Reeves said; "Recent events have left me very disappointed and having enjoyed a number of successful outings with NCR in 2012, I was very much looking forward to continuing with them next year and challenging for honours at the Isle of Man TT. However, that will not now be the case and instead, I will pursue this goal with a new team and passenger and with the continued support of all my loyal sponsors. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Dave and Fran Hudspeth for their fantastic support during the year and hope that we can work together again in the future."
