Permanent Bank International has appointed Stacey Staines as Company Accountant. She joins the business from Conister Bank where she worked as Group Financial Controller for three years. Stacey grew up in Gloucestershire and Staffordshire before moving to the Isle of Man in 1999 with her parents. She gained a first class BSc Econ degree in Business Studies from the University of Aberystwyth with her studies including a gap year working with Deloitte in the Isle of Man. Later she joined Deloitte as a graduate trainee and held the post of Assistant Manager at the end of four years working with the company. During this period Stacey trained as a Chartered Accountant in Deloitte’s audit and assurance department qualifying in November 2005 passing all of her exams at the first attempt.
Stacey’s role as Company Accountant encompasses accounting, regulatory reporting, financial reporting, and operational management responsibilities. She is pleased to be joining Permanent Bank International at an exciting time for the business and commented:

Stacey is married and away from work enjoys playing netball, skiing, and camping.
