Police appeal for information

by isleofman.com 17th September 2012

The IOM Constabulary have released the following requests for information:

Sometime over the last month, a bench that had been placed at Scarlett Car Park in memorial to a loved one has been damaged beyond repair.  It is believed that a vehicle may have collided with the bench causing the bench to be so badly damaged that it had to be removed.

Officers appeal for anyone who may have witnessed this matter or have any knowledge of it to come forward and help as this has caused a great deal of upset to the family of the loved one for whom the bench had been placed.

The Western Neighbourhood Policing Team are appealing for witnesses following a report of theft of two women’s mountain bikes in the area of Glen Maye Hill, Glen Maye.  The bikes where taken from the driveway of a property between the hours of 6pm Saturday 8th September and 9am Sunday 9th September.  The first of the bikes is described as being turquoise in colour with pink flowers and rusty chrome handlebars, the second being dark purple in colour.
