The Isle of Man’s offering as a well respected international business centre will once again be showcased in China through a series of high profile events, attended by more than 800 professionals.

Leading global fiduciary services provider The ILS Group will be attending the prestigious Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) Asia conference in Hong Kong on October 16 and 17 and the China Offshore Summit in Shanghai on October 24 and 25.

This will be the third consecutive year The ILS Group, which is headquartered in Douglas, but has offices in nine other locations around the world, has attended STEP Asia. It was a Gold sponsor in 2010 and an exhibitor last year. It will also be the third consecutive China Offshore Summit the company has been a Gold sponsor at.

More than 400 professionals are expected to attend STEP Asia this year. In Singapore last year the conference broke all previous records with more than 450 delegates attending. Similar high numbers are expected at the China Offshore Summit, which will be attended by Chinese professionals, entrepreneurs and financial intermediaries.

The China Offshore Summit includes presentations, workshops and panel discussions, which addresses the most pressing issues in China’s outbound offshore investments, including a 30 minute Offshore Update presentation from David Ashton, Managing Director of ILS Fiduciaries (Switzerland) Sarl.
