During the evening of Saturday 8th September 2012 and early morning Monday 10th September 2012 a window was smashed at the rear of The Crust, Douglas Street, Peel.

------

Overnight into Saturday 8th September 2012 four vehicles parked on the building side of Mooragh Promenade, Ramsey had their wing mirrors displaced.  One of the vehicles sustained permanent damage as a result.  It would appear that person/s currently unknown have either pushed or kicked the wing mirrors on a line of vehicles parked alongside the pavement.  Local residents report seeing a group of youths in the area in the early hours and the Police would like to speak to anyone who may have information regarding the damage.

Anybody with information should contact PC 134 Ysanne Williamson at Ramsey Police Station on 812234 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.

------

Between the 10th and 12th of September a large shed in the area of Hazel Crescent, Pulrose was broken into and several items stolen. These include a distinctive yellow child’s quad bike, a small white motor bike and a quantity of hand tools which were stored loose in the shed.

PC Cretney at Lord Street Police Station would like to hear from anyone who knows about the theft or has information as to the whereabouts of the stolen items. He also warns members of the public to be vigilant in case they are offered these items for sale.

Ramsey police are investigating a dog bite incident. At approximately 2.30pm on Wednesday 19th September 2012 a woman was walking alone up Brookfield Avenue in Ramsey, next to the entrance to Ramsey Golf Club car park. A long haired German Shepherd dog has run across the road and bitten her leg. It is believed the dog had ran out from a dark coloured, possibly Black Ford C Max people carrier or similar. The driver of the vehicle was described as a woman in her mid 40’s, shoulder length brown curly hair. It is believed the dog went back to this woman but neither were there when Police arrived. Whilst the woman who had been bitten was shocked and suffered a bite injury, it is not described as serious.

Ramsey police are appealing for witnesses to the incident or the woman described to get in touch with Ramsey Police

Police would like to remind dog owners that when they take dogs out to please make sure they are properly under control. This includes leads or harnesses, collars to have dog licence and name tag with a contact number of the owner.

If anyone has any information please contact PC Mark Hempsall at Ramsey Police Station on 812234 or Crimestoppers 0800 555 111.
