Next ICSA presentation to be Tuesday 16 October 2012

Paul Hotchkiss of Hotchkiss Associates will give the next ICSA presentation on Tuesday 16 October. The event, sponsored by Hotchkiss Associates, is titled “The UK Statutory Residence Test - what is it and what will it mean for us?”             

Paul Hotchkiss is a former tax partner in KPMG and established his own company, Hotchkiss Associates Limited, in 2010 and is based in the Isle of Man. He is a Chartered Certified Accountant, Trust and Estate Practitioner and a UK Chartered Tax Adviser. He is currently the Chairman of the Isle of Man branch of STEP and was the inaugural Chairman of the Isle of Man branch of the Chartered Institute of Taxation.

Paul specialises in four main areas 1) UK private client tax services covering such matters as UK residence, domicile and the taxation of trusts and companies established for families; 2) inward investment into the UK by non-UK resident individuals, trusts and companies (including funds); 3) the taxation and international structuring of offshore funds and related matters; and finally 4) tax investigations which includes assisting individuals, trustees and directors of companies to deal with HMRC enquiries into their tax affairs.

The presentation will start at 6pm for 6.15pm at the Best Western Palace Hotel and Casino, Douglas.
