A taste of Benidorm “Rocks” The Crescent

by isleofman.com 8th October 2012

The long overdue Spanish sunshine is forecast to hit Douglas soon – in the form of ITV’s Benidorm star – Comedian Chrissy Rock.

The star of the hit ITV show, who also appeared in I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, is about to embark on a UK wide comedy show entitled The Original Desperate Scousewives, and is bringing her show here to the The Crescent in Douglas on Saturday 27th October in aid of local charity Manx Cancer Help.

The show, which also features top UK Drag Queen Kitty Litter, is already selling out at venues across the British Isles. Ally Martin from charity Manx Cancer Help said “We are delighted to be able to attract such a high profile act like this to the island. Due to the generosity of sponsors Canada Life International, OSA, IoM Steam Packet and The Sefton Hotel we have been able to cover the majority of costs, keeping tickets at an affordable price and hopefully raising lots of money for our worthwhile cause.”

Tickets for the show are selling fast and can be obtained from the Ticket Hotline on 622447 or email thecrescent@manx.net or alternatively contact Ally on 679544 or check out either The Crescent or MCH facebook pages.
