Police request assistance following damage to vehicles

Police have released the following requests for information:

Police are investigating numerous instances of criminal damage that occurred in several areas of the South of the Island. This happened sometime between 7.00pm and 10.00pm Sunday evening, 7th October 2012. In excess of 50 cars have had one of two corrosive liquids sprayed onto them from what is believed to  a moving vehicle.
 
Both liquids have caused extensive damage to the paint work of the vehicles. Please ensure caution is used if removing the liquids from vehicles and preferably contact the Police for advice before doing so.
 
This incident will obviously effect many innocent members of the Public and is clearly unacceptable. Police urge anyone who saw anything connected to this incident to get in touch.   Please call any police station or call crime stoppers on 0800 555 111.

Between 0900 hours and 1700 hours on Thursday 4th October 2012 a Grey Honda Civic has been parked in the overspill car park in Nobles Hospital, Braddan.

Between these times an unknown vehicle has collided with the rear nearside causing dents and scratches.
