Police appeal for further vehicle in relation to cars damaged

by isleofman.com 11th October 2012

Inspector Mark Newey of the Southern Neighbourhood Policing Team commented, “Following the media release submitted yesterday where there was an appeal for information to identity the dark coloured hatchback vehicle in Honna Road, the owner of the vehicle saw the appeal and made contact straight away with the Police and I can confirm that the person had nothing to do with the on-going investigation.

Enquiries are still continuing to identify those responsible for the significant amount of damage.

Another vehicle that I need to identify is a light coloured hatchback which travelled along either the Ballachurry Road or Ballafesson Road towards the Honna Road on Sunday evening at approximately 10pm. As the vehicle approached the Surby junction on its right hand side, the vehicle then turned around in the junction and left in the same direction from which it had arrived. I would like the driver or any occupant of the vehicle or anyone else who may know who this was, to contact the Police so that they can be eliminated from the enquiry.”

Anyone who has information about this incident should contact Police Headquarters on 631212. A reward may be payable as a result of your information.
