More than eighty eGaming professionals braved torrential rain on Thursday 11th October to attend the eClub Halloween Party at the Courthouse, sponsored by Celton Manx. Guests from operators and service providers were greeted by a ghostly mist, scary clowns and complimentary food and drink at the networking event, which is held roughly five times each year.
Celton Manx also put on a prize draw for a chance to win a VIP lunch for ten people at the Bobby Moore Hospitality Suite at Upton Park in January, before watching a Premiership match between West Ham and QPR. Debbie Hammond, Director of Offshore Services at Wilton Group, was the lucky winner of the prize.
Mike Stanton, Head of Business Development for Celton Manx, commented on the evening: “It was wonderful to see so many people turn out despite the bad weather, which I think is testament to both the strength of the local industry and how much fun events like this can be. For our part, we were happy to be able to support the Manx community by providing this opportunity for them to come together and have a good time. I am also delighted for Debbie, who is in for a real treat!”
The locally headquartered company is one of the Island’s most prominent eGaming operators and employers, and a world leader in providing online Sports Betting and Casino products.
The eClub is a social meeting place for anyone involved in eGaming on the Isle of Man or those with an interest in the sector. The initiative was started by KPMG and Continent 8 Technologies to bring the growing number of people working in the sector together in one place and start building lasting relationships. As well as providing a social venue, the eClub party also gives colleagues and friends the opportunity to chat informally about ideas and issues within eGaming on the Island.
