Local tour operator celebrates expansion

by isleofman.com 23rd October 2012

The first travel agency to introduce direct flights from the Isle of Man to holiday destinations has revealed a programme for 2013 that beats all its rivals.

Freedom Travel has been serving the Isle of Man as a specialist tour operator for the past 24 years. The 2013 holiday season will be Freedom’s fourth consecutive year offering direct flights to a wide range of destinations. Each year, the programme has grown and 2013’s will be the biggest on offer from any Manx-based tour operator.

Managing director Jan Wozniak said: ‘We have harnessed decades of experience in the holiday business to build a hugely successful direct holidays programme. New in our fourth season will be Formentera, an island virtually untouched by time in the Balearics. We have also added to our popular ‘Majorca rediscovered’ collection offering rural hotels and a true flavour of Spain.’

Freedom Travel uses local carrier Flybe as its direct flights partner and is offering one or two week packages from May to October.

Mr Wozniak said: ‘Our customers appreciate the personal service we provide, both here and throughout their holiday. It has been extremely gratifying to see our direct flights service in 2013 is going to be our biggest yet, thanks to local demand.’

The 2013 direct holidays brochure is available now.
