by isleofman.com 31st October 2012

A new factsheet has been produced specifically to assist the retail sector. Developed by the Isle of Man Government Department of Economic Development (DED), the factsheet offers retailers an up to date overview of the advice and assistance currently available to them on island. Covering topics such as:

• Customer service training – A new specialist course intended for the retail sector and funded by DED
• Grants and assistance schemes – A range of schemes and initiatives to assist new and existing business
• Key contact names and details
• Regeneration funding – Financial assistance available to those within the qualifying regeneration zones

The sheet has been designed in a format that offers a quick reference point to retailers who may require advice or assistance in the day to day running of their business. Additionally, the sheet provides current contact information of those available to offer guidance on more specific requirements.

Retailers are invited to request their complimentary copy of the factsheet or discuss any of the information found on the factsheet in further detail or an online electronic version can be found at www.whereyoucan.im/Resources/Fact-Sheets.aspx.
