Police appeal after vehicles damaged in Ramsey and Douglas

Ramsey Police are investigating at Hit & Run Road Traffic Collision which occurred between 9am and 10am on Monday 29th October 2012 in Glen Elfin Road, Ramsey.
 
Between these times a black Ford Mondeo motor car was parked on the left hand side of the road, facing towards the Cronk Elfin Estate, when it was struck from behind causing damage to the driver’s side rear light cluster and bumper.  The offending vehicle, which will probably have noticeable damage to its front near or passenger side failed to stop.
 
The investigating Officer in the matter PC Will Moffatt said “from my investigations so far in to this matter, I believe the offending vehicle to be a red coloured vehicle, possibly a van or other large type vehicle”.
 
Anyone with any information in respect of this matter is asked to contact Ramsey Police Station on 812234 or any Police Officer.

Police are investigating an act of Criminal Damage to a White Van parked on Castlemona Avenue, Douglas overnight between Tuesday 30th and Wednesday 31st October 2012.

The large white van had the nearside front tyre slashed with a sharp implement.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to the incident or anyone who may have knowledge of the incident to contact the Police on 631212 of Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
