Fire Crews assist trapped lorry driver

Last Friday, 2nd November, fire crews were called to Victoria Road, Douglas where a lorry driver had become trapped by his arm in the ‘tail lift’ of his vehicle.

The casualty was released using a hooligan tool and crow bar before being treated at the scene by Paramedics for crush injuries.

He was then transported to Hospital for further medical treatment
