The Department’s public consultation on the outline design for Douglas Promenade refurbishment project is scheduled to close on Friday 9 November 2012. The design parameters for this scheme were developed in 2011 following the assessment of over 450 public consultation responses and the feedback from four focus groups on the Issues and Options associated with this proposed development. The Plans can be viewed at the Department’s Murray House Planning Reception; the Sea Terminal concourse and on the Department’s website. The Department would welcome written comments and suggestions regarding this outline design. Alternatively, a questionnaire is available from the Sea Terminal or on the Department’s website via this link https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/YourPromenade-YourSay.
Minister for Infrastructure David Cretney MHK commented “A week remains in this important public consultation and I would recommend any person with an interest in this scheme takes this opportunity to comment upon the Department’s proposals.”
