Boal & Co sponsors Hong Kong pensions conference

by isleofman.com 5th November 2012

Directors from local pensions firm Boal & Co are in Hong Kong this week, where the company is sponsoring International Adviser’s 2012 International Pensions Forum.

The conference takes place on Thursday, November 8 and is aimed at financial advisers, with Managing Director Gary Boal and Sales Director Paul Forman delivering a presentation on ‘Effective tax planning using QROPS’.

‘A lot of our business is generated from the Far East and we regularly travel there to meet advisers and clients, so the IA pensions forum is an ideal platform to promote our products and services and meet new and existing contacts,’ explained Gary.

‘We’re tying the conference in with adviser meetings in Thailand, Malaysia, Hong Kong and China, and will be once again promoting the Isle of Man’s modern pensions regulations, along with the choice of pension structures. We’re looking forward to what promises to be an extremely busy and productive visit.’

A key element of Gary and Paul’s presentation will focus on Select, Boal & Co’s Isle of Man QROPS scheme.

Paul said: ‘It’s been an exciting year for Boal & Co, and the forum is an opportunity to build on the success we’ve enjoyed. We launched “Select” in May and the following month we won a prestigious International Fund & Product Award for the second year running, being named “Best International Specialist Pension Provider”.

‘At that time we’d just announced more than US$ 1 billion in assets across its client schemes and within our corporate pension client base we now have five “Fortune 500” companies, in addition to some of the world’s largest privately-owned companies.’
