Infrastructure Minister to give evidence

The Environment and Infrastructure Policy Review Committee, a Standing Committee of Tynwald, will be taking oral evidence from the Minister for Infrastructure for the first time next week. A wide range of topics is likely to be covered in the evidence session, in which Ian Thompson, the Chief Executive of the Department, will also participate.

The Committee intends to take this evidence on Wednesday 14th November at 10.30 am in the Legislative Council Chamber, Legislative Buildings, Bucks Road, Douglas.

The evidence will be taken in public; members of the public are welcome to attend.

The Environment and Infrastructure Policy Review Committee is one of three Standing Committees of Tynwald Court established in October 2011 with a wide scrutiny remit. The oral evidence session with the Minister on 14th November is one of a series of routine scrutiny sessions covering all Departments over the course of about a year.
