Police appeal for information following incidents in Peel

Please see the following requests for information from the Isle of Man Constabulary:

Police are investigating a fail to stop road traffic collision that took place in Kerroo Coar, Peel sometime between 1pm Saturday 3rd November and 7.30am Sunday 4th November.
 
During this incident an unknown vehicle collided with Harris fencing surrounding a building compound on Kerroo Coar near to the junction with Derby Road. Unfortunately this vehicle then failed to stop at the scene. The Harris fencing sustained substantial damage as a result of the collision.
 
Police are keen to speak to anyone who may be able to help them with their enquires.
 
Anyone who may have information that can assist the Police enquiries is asked to contact PC118 Beirne on 842208.

Peel Police are appealing for witnesses to damage to the downstairs window of a property, which took place at between 17:45hrs on Wednesday 31st October and 17:45hrs on Thursday 1st November 2012.  This damage occurred in the Crown Street area of Peel, near to The Peveril Hotel, and is consistent with an item being thrown at the window, which has caused the glass to smash. 
 
Police are anxious to hear from persons who may have information which could assist in furthering their investigations and would urge any person who noticed suspicious or usual activity in the area between the stated times, to make contact.  Enquires are ongoing into this matter and Police will be eager to speak with witnesses.  Additionally, crime prevention advice can be made available to you, via your local Police Station. 
 
Anyone who has information about this incident should contact Police Headquarters on 631212. A reward may be payable as a result of your information.
