Fireworks spectacular in Ramsey

by isleofman.com 8th November 2012

Ramsey Town Commissioners’ fireworks display on November 5th proved a sparkling success, attracting large crowds to the spectacular display in Mooragh Park.

Ramsey Town Commissioners’ chairman Captain Nigel Malpass said: ‘Once again Mooragh Park provided the perfect setting for a sensational evening, with the island in the centre of the lake serving as the ideal location from which to fire the display. Fireworks night is one of our most high-profile community events where families can gather together to enjoy a truly breathtaking and dazzling display in a safe and secure environment.  Thanks are due to everyone who helped ensure the success of the evening, not least those members of the Commission’s workforce who prepared then cleared the site so efficiently.’
