Two car parks in Ramsey will be subject to short-term closures this month to allow site investigation works for the proposed transport interchange project.
On Monday November 19th part of the temporary car park on the site of the former Albert Road School will be closed for trial pits to be dug and on Thursday November 22nd and Friday November 23rd the Parsonage Road (Plaza) car park will be closed for similar work.
Advance advisory notices will be placed on vehicles parked at the two sites and at the entrance to the Plaza car park.
The Ramsey transport interchange is a project led by the Department of Infrastructure and the Department of Community, Culture and Leisure in partnership with Ramsey Town Commissioners to co-locate bus and Manx Electric Railway services into one centralised facility.
