Between Monday 19th November 2012 and Tuesday 20th November 2012 a charity box has been taken from a shop in Parliament Street, Ramsey. The charity box was red in colour and was embossed with the MENCAP logo.
The police would like to hear any information in regards to the despicable theft which has taken place. We would also like to hear from anyone who has seen any discarded charity boxes.
Police remind the local business community that this is unlikely to be an isolated incident and to remain vigilant to suspicious activity.

Police are investigating the theft of plants & shrubs from gardens and communal areas in the new housing development at Janet’s Corner, Castletown.
The decorative plants and bushes were placed in and around the estate by the Department of Infrastructure for the benefit of the residents and the community.
It appears that somebody has dug them up and removed them. A rose bush has also been removed from a resident’s garden in the same area.
Police are urging residents to keep a watch out and report any information to help identify the thieves.
