Snow doubt who’s coming to Ramsey…

by isleofman.com 26th November 2012

There’s genuine Claus for celebration in Ramsey this Christmas. Santa’s coming to town and taking up residence in his grotto on no fewer than four times in the run-up to Christmas.

Local photographer Andrew Barton has teamed up with Ramsey Chamber of Commerce and turned Santa’s little helper to accommodate the grotto in his studio, located in the former Ramsey post office in Court Row, just off Parliament Street.

Santa will be in his grotto from 1 to 4pm on Saturday December 1st, Sunday December 9th, Saturday December 15th and Saturday December 22nd. The Great Grotto Experience costs just ?2.50 per child and includes a gift.

On Sunday December 9th it will be ‘Christmas Central’ in Ramsey with not only Santa in his grotto but also the prize-packed Santa Trail complete with street entertainment and a hog roast. (A section of Parliament Street will be closed off to make searching for the 12 days of Christmas clues all the safer). There’ll also be a charity market in St Paul’s Square and ‘snow’ is forecast around Ramsey town hall.

Yule miss out if you don’t come to Ramsey this Christmas!
