Police dealing with complaint after workers soaked by two vehicles

by isleofman.com 26th November 2012
Peel Police are presently dealing with a complaint after a Department of Infrastructure worker was soaked to the skin by two vehicles whilst he was clearing drains.

Due to the recent adverse weather conditions the Highway Board have had extra work in clearing roads and blocked drains to make the roads safe and passable for the public.

Police would ask motorists to be extra vigilant during these periods of extreme weather, being mindful of Highway Board staff working in and around the roads. Police accept that the majority of motorists do take care; however unfortunately sometimes there are one or two who do not.
