Police Requests for Information and Notice of Inquest

At 2.30pm on Monday the 3rd day of December 2012 the Coroner of Inquests , Mr J.Needham will reconvene the Inquest into the death of Mr Stephen Osborne 60yrs of Douglas, isle of Man.

Peel Police are investigating a driving complaint that occurred on the Ballahutchin Hill, just outside of Union Mills at approximately 10:40pm Saturday 1st December 2012.
 
The Police are appealing for witnesses to the overtake and would especially like to speak to the driver of a silver coloured 4x4, which was towing a white box trailer and travelling towards Glen Vine. If you have witnessed this incident please contact PC David Hall at Peel Police Station.

Police are continuing to make enquiries following the burglary at Foxdale Filling Station in the early hours of Tuesday 13th November 2012. After forcing their way in through a window, the offender surprisingly failed to steal anything and made good their escape.
 
Detective Constable Alan Shimmin, who is co-ordinating the investigation said; “ This is a case we are keen to solve, but we will need some help from the public to do so. If people could cast their minds back to the night in question, if they were in the area perhaps driving through in the small hours, I’d be really grateful if they could give me a call. Even the most insignificant piece of information might help the investigation.”

Police are currently seeking information regarding a burglary that occurred in late September 2012 at a property in Gansey. A large quantity of wine was taken from the property. This wine was bought via mail order, has quite unusual labels and would not be routinely available via retail outlets.
 
The photograph shows a sample of the wine taken. If anyone has seen any of these bottles or been offered them as a gift or for sale they are asked to make contact with the PC Will BILTCLIFFE.

Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident in which all 4 tyres of a Silver BMW motor car were damaged, the incident took place in the area of Willow Terrace, Douglas, between Friday 16th November and Friday 30th November 2012.

Police are investigating a hit and run road traffic collision that occurred between 6.30pm on Friday 30th November 2012 and 9.15am on Saturday 1st December 2012 whereby a parked vehicle was struck on Christian Road, Douglas. The parked vehicle had the off side front bumper knocked off along with the light cluster.
