Barclays celebrates launch of new client suite

by isleofman.com 4th December 2012

Barclays has recently celebrated the launch of a new client suite with a business presentation and wine tasting evening.

Earlier this year, the Victoria Street branch was entirely refurbished to include state-of-the-art counter technology, the removal of counter screens to enable closer interaction with staff and direct access to telephone banking services all designed to improve the customer experience.

As part of the refurbishment, a new client suite, located on the first floor, offers a more private setting for corporate and business customers.  Island Director Ian Hodgkinson explained: ‘The refurbished branch provides fantastic facilities for our personal customers and the launch of the client suite ensures that we can offer the same fantastic service to our corporate and business clients.’

A presentation was held for invited guests and associatesfrom the local business community and included a tour of  the new facilities and an overview of the services and expertise that Barclays in the Isle of Man offers. On hand were members of the Barclays team with expertise in investments, treasury and foreign exchange, cash management and corporate banking to answer questions and provide insight to guests. The evening was rounded off with a fun wine tasting challenge.

Mr Hodgkinson continued: ‘It is fantastic to be able to offer our corporate clients access to a brand new facility which we hope will enhance their banking experience. We are proud to have such a large pool of local expertise available to our clients here in the Isle of Man as well as being able to call on the global Barclays support network.’
