World Aids Day highlights Island position

by isleofman.com 1st December 2012

A recently-formed organisation in the Isle of Man is using World AIDS day today (Saturday) to highlight what help is available to sufferers in the Isle of Man and what more needs doing.

The Isle of Man HIV Support Group was set up in July and says it's already had 18 people with HIV or AIDS using their services.

The group's co-ordinator is Tony.

He told Marian Kenny there's little support for sufferers over here:

The group operates a helpline and email service. Call 237195, Monday-Friday 6pm-8pm, or email iomhivsupportgroup@manx.net
