Inquest resumes into death of visiting biker

The inquest into the death of a mother of two from York killed in a motorbike accident will resume this afternoon (Friday).

Forty-nine year-old Amanda McNicol was on holiday in the Island during TT practice week in May with her husband when the bike they were riding hit a grass verge on the Mountain Road.

She fell into the road by the 32nd Milestone and was struck by another passing machine.

The hearing before coroner John Needham will reconvene at Douglas Courthouse at two thirty.
