Gubay frustrated at lack of progress on Casino complex proposals

by isleofman.com 29th November 2012

An Island businessman says he wants to spend ?50 million on a five star hotel and casino in the Island.

Albert Gubay believes such a development at Mount Murray would help attract tourists and increase the Island's profile in the gaming industry.

Officials at the Santon development submitted a tender earlier this year when government invited expressions of interest as it looks to grant a second casino licence.

However, Mr Gubay says he’s become increasingly frustrated at a lack of progress.
