Accidental death verdict at TT visitor inquest

An inquest heard today how a visiting biker was killed in a collision during TT week.

Andrew Stephen Baxter was travelling from Laxey to Ramsey on May 29, when he misjudged the corner at Bulgham Rocks.

Mr Baxter, a welder from North Shields, lost control of his bike, slid across the road and collided with an oncoming Citroen C5.

The collision was said to be instantly fatal.

The coroner recorded a verdict of accidental death.
