Museum meeting tonight

by isleofman.com 27th November 2012

The future of the Jurby Transport Museum may be a little clearer after this evening (Tuesday).

Members and volunteers have called a meeting at the Columba Club in Douglas to discuss the next move.

Anyone with an interest is asked to attend.

There’s been unhappiness since four directors voted to remove Richard Davis as chairman earlier this month.

Volunteers have subsequently withdrawn their support and exhibits are being removed from the facility.

Vehicle owner Andy Hurd and volunteer Tony Wilson says if the decision isn’t reversed, they fear for the future of the museum.
