Fans win chance to meet X Factor and BGT stars thanks to Manx Telecom

by isleofman.com 27th November 2012

Fans of The X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent won tickets to see stars from the shows and meet some of them backstage after a charity concert at the Villa Marina. Amanda Cottier, from Ramsey, won the Gold Tickets in an exclusive competition for Manx Telecom customers featured in the company’s ‘In Touch’ magazine. Stars from The X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent will perform at the Villa Marina on November 30 in a show sponsored by Manx Telecom to raise funds for Junior Achievement. It features Marcus Collins, Craig Colton, Jamie Archer, and Signature who have all starred in the popular ITV talent shows in recent years. Isle of Man gymnastics display team Asteria, who won Junior Achievement’s ‘Next Big Thing’ competition earlier this year, singer/songwriter Simon J Bailey, and UK teen band EverYoung complete a fantastic line-up.

The Manx Telecom prize winners will be two of just 30 fans with Gold Tickets that allow them to meet stars, get autographs, and have their photos taken with them. Prize-winner Amanda is giving the Gold Tickets to her daughter Emma and her friend.  Emma is really excited about meeting the stars of the show and was presented with the tickets at Manx Telecom’s Strand Street store by Danny Hands from Manx Telecom’s store retail team.

Tickets for the concert priced £25 are available from the Villa Marina website. Manx Telecom mobile customers can get hold of their tickets for just £20 by visiting the Manx Telecom shop in Strand Street, Douglas. For more information go to manxtelecom.com/xfactor.
