The Island’s leading life-saving charity is offering a Christmas gift idea with a difference – and one that could save a life.
St John Ambulance Isle of Man is selling vouchers that can be redeemed against the wide range of community training courses it runs.
St John Ambulance offers subsidised courses, with the aim of training as many people as possible to be the difference in an emergency situation.
These include community and workplace-based first aid and first aid for babies and children. A full list of courses for 2013 can be found on the website.
Vouchers are available in any denomination and can be used to pay for part of or all of a course.
‘We never know when we might be faced with a situation where we need to tend to a loved one, friend or colleague who takes ill or has an accident and we train people to have the confidence and skills to act – and possibly save a life,’ said Phil Bennett, Commercial Development Officer with St John Ambulance Isle of Man.
To buy a voucher for a loved one, please ring St John Ambulance on 01624 674387 or email marketing@sja.org.im
