Paul Swindale has been appointed to the board of the Association of Corporate Service Providers (ACSP).
Mr Swindale has more than 28 years’ finance industry experience in the Isle of Man and further afield, notably in banking and corporate services provision. As a director of Vantage Corporate Services Limited (VCSL) he travels extensively, using such opportunities to promote the Isle of Man as a responsible well-regulated jurisdiction. He said he is ‘passionate’ about ensuring the Isle of Man continues to prosper, adding: ‘I am delighted to join the ACSP and view combining my role there with that of contributing to the growth of VCSL as a natural step.
‘Over the past 10 years I have spent a great deal of time driving not only my employer’s proposition but also that of the Island. During the last 12 months it has been particularly interesting to gain an insight into how finance sector professionals in other jurisdictions perceive the Isle of Man and the services it provides. I look forward to sharing those experiences with the board and helping not only the ACSP but also the Island in general stay ahead of the competition for years to come.’
Welcoming Mr Swindale to the board ACSP chairman Mark Denton said: ‘Paul is a well established figure in the Island’s finance industry. He has a depth and breadth of experience that will prove of great value to the ACSP in our work to support the local CSP sector, serve as its voice when dealing with government and regulatory bodies and promote the Island’s international profile.’
