Lib Vann questions report's independence

The Liberal Vannin Party says it has reservations about how independent a report into the Island's film industry actually was.

The Oxford Economics report was commissioned ahead of treasury's purchase of a share in Pinewood Shepperton studios.

South Douglas MHK and Liberal Vannin Party member Kate Beecroft has called for greater transparency over the deal.

She has yet more questions about it for Treasury Minister Eddie Teare in Tynwald this week.

Mrs Beecroft says the party feels the report wasn't as independent as has been made out:
