Manx2's suspension of flights to two destinations from next January is a commercial decision in a very tough market according to the airport director, who says air passenger duty tax is partly to blame.
Manx2 announced yesterday it will stop flying to Oxford and Leeds-Bradford from January 7th, as passenger numbers fall outside the main holiday season.
The company also cited the ?13 additional APD charge on domestic flights from the UK, as a disincentive to visiting the Island.
