Mountain Road closure later this week

by isleofman.com 12th November 2012

Planned work on the Mountain Road will now go ahead later this week after poor weather meant the Department of Infrastructure couldn’t start this morning.

As well as rebuilding a wall, workers will also clear drains in preparation for winter weather on Snaefell.

The work is now due to start on Wednesday and continue through Thursday.

The Mountain Road will close from 9.30am until 4.30pm on both days between the Ramsey Hairpin and Creg ny Baa.
