by isleofman.com 12th November 2012

Yes Mann Marketing Limited is now open for business in the Isle of Man.

The PR, Marketing and Event Management company has been launched by Merita Taylor and her business partner, Barry Duncan – one of the world’s most renowned experiential marketing experts. It is part of the ‘YES’ group of companies, ‘YES Agency’ and ‘YES Australia’*.

‘Yes Mann’ is dedicated to providing strategic public relations, marketing, advertising, copywriting and event management services to a wide range of clients in the Isle of Man, Channel Islands and further afield. Merita will service the needs of the SME market in addition to larger corporate clients.

Renowned for her international event management experience, she will also organise personal celebrations including weddings and parties in addition to corporate functions.

‘Yes Agency’ provides experiential marketing, promotional staffing and market research solutions to some of the world’s most famous brands including Coca Cola, Nintendo, Walkers and Imperial Tobacco.

Merita Taylor’s background is especially beneficial to her clients. A trained Journalist who also holds the Chartered Institute of Marketing Diploma, she has worked on three sides of the media, as a News Editor, radio presenter and TV news journalist in the Isle of Man and the UK, in an agency environment and on the client side in an international insurance company. Her unique media insight produces long-term impact and results, and helps clients to achieve both their commercial and personal goals.

During her previous life in an agency, she had responsibility for managing the PR, Marketing and Event needs for a number of high-profile clients in the Isle of Man and Channel Islands.

An expert in both B2B and B2C marketing across all industry sectors, this included researching, writing and implementing bespoke annual PR and marketing communication plans, working towards meeting a clearly defined strategic direction.

An accomplished writer with a large and varied portfolio of published work, she most recently managed the international communications and events for Royal London 360°.

Commenting on the launch of Yes Mann, Merita said: “What’s important to me is my reputation and the personal level of service and attention to detail I provide to my clients no matter whether they are a sole trader or an international company. I will ensure they receive a personal, efficient and effective service which benefits them and their business, and helps them to see a return on their investment.

“Having worked in three sides of the media and across the tri-Islands, I believe I have an unrivalled knowledge and understanding of what the media requires from a client and vice versa.

“I am also keen to expand the event management side of Yes Mann, whether it is helping clients to organise their wedding or a corporate function. This is an exciting time and I am looking forward to building new relationships and helping my clients to achieve their goals.”

* ‘YES’ is an acronym for ‘Your Experiential Staffing’. Both YES Agency and YES Australia provide experiential marketing, promotional staffing and market research solutions to some of the world’s most famous brands including Coca Cola, Nintendo, Walkers and Imperial Tobacco.
