Douglas council says its fireworks display this year has been hailed by many as the best ever.
The corporation says its annual display which took place on Douglas Promenade last Saturday, attracted thousands of people.
The display cost ?20,000 – although much of the cost was covered by corporate sponsorship
Stephen Pitts, chairman of the regeneration and advisory committee says the Celebrations were well-received, even after the bonfire failed to light!
