Island Americans watching election progress

by isleofman.com 6th November 2012

Americans living in the Isle of Man will be watching events unfold back home as the Presidential election gets into full swing today (Tuesday).

Experts say the result is too close to call with opinion polls in the swing states remaining extremely close.

People from the US who live here are able to vote by absentee ballot if they have completed the necessary paperwork.

Manx Radio's Ashley Bentley is from Atlanta and a Barrack Obama supporter.

She is not able to vote this time but says she will be keeping a close eye on what happens today, adding she's disappointed with America's seeming lack of support for Obama.
